STRIKE OVER..

Praise be to God the Father whose loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting. His grace has been sufficient to us all and we are rejoice in Him. We thank Him for sustaining us in Him. May His Name be glorified.

The kids are fine and Faith Wangari who has not been feeling well is improving. Also the staff and the board are fine.

After the teachers went on strike immediately at the opening of schools demanding for an increase in their salaries, and the children from all public primary and secondary schools stayed at home for 3 good weeks the Kenyan government granted them their request. This was after the teachers persisted for their right until the government heard them. The schools were reopened again on Tuesday 25th September 2012 and so all of our children reported back to their respective schools and they are doing well and they are happy to be back to school.
Let us continue to pray even as the prepare for their final exam(Kenya Certificate of Primary Education) of which we are not sure of the dates for the exam because this was affected by the teachers strike. But now we thank God that the problem was solved.

Greet all of our US friends and partnership . Let us continue in prayers, faith and hope.
In his service-Jesus Christ
Ruth.
