1.NAME: SHARON WAITHIRA WAIRIMU
GENDER: FEMALE

D.O.B: 2008

AGE: 7 YEARS

CLASS: 2- NDUNYU CHEGE PRY.SCH.

Sharon is a single orphan whose mother died around year 2009 while she was six months old. Sharon was admitted at AMCC-K in the year 2015 while she was 6 years but now is 7 years old. By then she was enrolled in class one but now she is in class 2. The father remarried after one week after the burial of the subject’s mother. The step mother could not be able to take good care of her and her other siblings whom she used to mistreat. The father ever since has married three other wives and divorced the first two. Before she was admitted at AMCC-K, she was living with her aunt since January 2012 because the maternal grandmother is advanced in age. Also the aunt’s husband is not ready to live in peace with her as long as the subject is in that home. Sharon was at risk of dropping out of school and be involved in child labour, child abuse, commercial sex for survival and be infected with HIV/AIDS. She is very happy to be in AMCC-K. She is a bright girl and if assisted can achieve her dream. Please assist her.

Sarah is not an orphan, her parents are alive but they divorced after getting 4 children of which were left under the care of the poor mother. Sarah’s mother is a casual labourer who stays in a rented room. The mother is under sick bed after she got badly burnt by hot tea, and was medically advised not to do heavy duties because she developed chest problems and other complications from the burns. This made it difficult for her to take care of her four children, and it led her to seek admission for her daughter in AMCC-K in order for her to empowered through education. Sarah was at risk of dropping out of school and get into child labour, commercial sex, drug abuse or migrate to become a street child trying to feed herself. She was admitted in AMCC-K in the year 2016 and was enrolled in class 4.
Sarah’s favourite subject is Kiswahili, her favourite dish is posho meal with green vegetables. Her favourite game is football, while her ambition is to become a broad caster after she graduates from University. If assisted she can achieve her dream.

David Maigo is not an orphan, his parents divorced in the year 2009 leaving the child and his 2 siblings under the care of the poor illiterate mother. David’s mother is a casual laborer. She stays with her children in a rented room. Due to poverty she had to seek admission for his son in AMCC-K because he was unable to educate David. David was at risk of dropping out of school and migrate to town to feed himself. He was therefore admitted in AMCC-K in year 2016 and was enrolled in class 7.
David’s favourite subject is mathematics, while his favourite game is football. His favourite dish is posho meal with kales. His ambition is to become an Accountant after he graduates from University. If David is assisted he can achieve his dream.
4.NAME: STEPHEN MWANIKI NDUATI

Stephen is a total orphan. His father died in the year 2013 in a road accident. Stephen and his 4 siblings were left under the care of the poor mother, who then passed away in the year 2015 through sickness. Stephen and his sisters & brothers were left hopeless without anyone neither to feed nor educate them. Stephen was taken by his aunt who had to seek admission for him in AMCC-K since she could not be able to educate him because she is poor and a casual labourer. The rest of Stephen’s siblings stays alone struggling to feed themselves. In answering to this call, Stephen was admitted in AMCC-K in the year 2016 and was enrolled in class 1.
Stephen’s favourite Subject is science, while his favourite game is football. His favourite dish is chapatis with chicken stew. His ambition is to become a President after he graduates from the University. Please assist him to realize his dream.

Rachael is a partial orphan. Her father died in the ear 2013.The death of her father left Rachael’s mother being a widow and to take care of her 3 children. The mother is poor, a casual labourer and a squatter in without any means to educate her children. Therefore Rachael was at risk of dropping out of school and get into child labour, child abuse and commercial sex to feed herself. She was admitted in AMCC-K in the year 2016 and was enrolled in class 6.
Rachael’s favourite subject is Science while her favourite dish is chapattis with cabbage, Irish potatoes & meat stew. Her favourite game is soccer. Her ambition is to become a teacher after she graduates from the University. If assisted Rachael can achieve her dream.

The girl was at risk of dropping out of school and get into child labour, drug abuse, child abuse, engage herself in commercial sex or either migrate to town to become a street child to feed herself. She was admitted in AMCC-K in the year 2016 and was enrolled in class 7.

Liz is a partial orphan. His father died in the year 2015 leaving Liz under the care of her poor mother, who is also a casual labourer. She was admitted in AMCC-K in the year 2015.

Mary is not an orphan. Both of her parents are alive but living in abject poverty, as casual laborers. She was at a risk of dropping out of school and engage herself in commercial sex.

Joseph is not an orphan. Both of his parents are alive but poor. The family stays in a rented house after they were kicked out of their land and their properties burnt in the 2007/2008 post violence election. Later on the father neglected his family after one of the kid got sick and became crippled, thus consuming a lot due to trm4eatment. He left the mother with the burden of taking care of the five children. The mother depends on well-wishers. This led the mother to apply for admission of her son in AMCC-K to be empowered through education. Due to poverty Joseph was at risk of dropping out of school and become a street child to feed himself. He was admitted in AMCC-K in the 2016 and as enrolled in
class 6.

Joseph’s favourite subject is Kiswahili, while his favourite dish is chapati with cabbages & beef stew. His favourite game is football. His ambition is to become a scientist after he graduates from the University. Please assist him to achieve his dream.

Sharon is a single orphan. Her mother passed away in the year 2015. Sharon was admitted at AMCC-K in the year 2015 at the age of 9 years but now she is 10 years old. She was enrolled in class 5 but now she is in class 6. She was left under the care of her father who is a casual labourer, and has 2 other kids to cater for. The subject’s father is also responsible for the care of his sister’s daughter (a total orphan) since she was a single mother.
Sharon was at risk of rape since one man –a neighbor to the family had tried to rape but unfortunately he did not make it. She was at risk of dropping out school and engage herself in child labour, child abuse, commercial sex for survival and finally be infected with HIV /AIDS.
She is a bright girl in her academic work. Her favourite subject is Social Studies & C.R.E. Her favourite dish is rice and beans. Her favourite game is rope jumping, while her hobby is singing & dancing gospel music. Her ambition is to become a magistrate. Please assist her to realize her dream.

17.NAME: SUSAN NJERI

Susan is not an orphan. She was admitted at AMCC-K in the yea October 2015. She has not been attending school due to security purposes. Susan has been undergoing child abuse, for several times, she was raped by her father, uncle and grandfather. The uncle is in jail but the grandfather disappeared not to be jailed after being reported to the police. She is here at AMCC-K for care and protection. She was at risk of being infected with HIV/AIDS. Susan is always happy to be in AMCC-K. Please assist her.

Both of her parents are alive but casual labourers and at the same time, the father has some physical challenges and therefore they had been struggling to take care of the girl and the other two siblings. She was at risk of dropping out of school and be involved in child labour, child abuse, migrate to town to become a street child or be engaged in commercial sex for survival.
Mary’s favourite mathematics and she fancies in taking Rice with chicken stew. She likes skipping with rope. Her ambition is to become an accountant. If assisted she can achieve her dream.

She is bright in her academic work. She is not an orphan. Her favorite food is chapati with chicken stew. Her favorite subject is Mathematics while her favorite game is handball. Her ambition is to become a medical doctor. Please sponsor her to realize her vision for I have volunteered to work for the orphans and at-risk children without any pay or other source of income.
20. NAME: BONIFACE IRUNGU MAINA-

This is a single orphan whose Mother died of hiv/aids. Boniface was admitted in AMCC-K in December 2013 aged 8 years but now is 10 years. He was enrolled in Nursery School and now is in class 3.He lives at Ah-Gah-Pay Mercy Children’s Centre-Kenya. Boniface’s father is a widower, poor and financially unstable and therefore s stands to be assisted financially in order to be able to raise and feed the huge assortments of dependent. In answering this call the AMCC-K led by Bishop John Kameru intervened to assist Boniface access his education with an aim of creating & establishing a commendable foundation for him. In addition the father is also reported to be ailing and this makes things even worse for him. The mother died of HIV/AIDS infection and in this regard the father also sends a plea to be helped regain his composure because he has been ailing from year 2000. Boniface’s best subject is Mathematics and his favorite food is Rice with beef stew. His Vision is to become a Medical Doctor. His favorite game is rope jumping. Please assist him to be able to achieve his vision.

Cecilia is an Orphan. A Good Samaritan rescued Cecilia after her single mother succumbed HIV/AIDS. Cecilia was reported to have previously been sent home frequently because of school fees and this alarmed the AMCC-K head Rev. John Kameru to intervene for her with an aim of securing quality education and a better standard of living for Cecilia. She was living with her aged and ailing grandmother who is also a widow without a source of income. She was admitted to AMCC-K in January 2013 aged 10 years but now she is 13 years, and was enrolled in class 3 but now she is in class 6.Her best subject is .Her favorite meal is Chapatti and chicken stew. Her favorite game is rope jumping. Her Vision is to be a Medical Doctor.
22. CYRUS KINYANJUI MUIGAI-

Cyrus is an orphan. He is bright in his academic work . He was admitted to AH-GAH-PAY MERCY CHILDREN’S CENTRE in year the 2011 at the age of 10 years, but now he is 15 years, he was enrolled in class 4 at Gathanji primary school and later transferred to Ndunyu Chege primary school when AMCC moved from Kiriaini location, to the chicken facility in Ndunyu Chege. He is now done with Primary School Education and waiting to join form one this year. He is admitted at Wahundura Boys Secondary School. Before admission he lived with his poor and elderly grandparents together with his siblings named, Simon & Selmich. His mother died of pneumonia in year2005 after divorcing her husband. His vision is to become a Pilot after his graduating from university. His favorite activity is soccer and favorite subject is mathematics while his favorite food chapati and beef stew. His grandmother is a casual laborer earning $1 a day. Please assist him to realize her dream.

This boy was admitted to Ah-Gah-Pay Mercy Children’s Centre Kenya on December 2012 aged 10 years and was enrolled in class 2 at Ndunyu Chege Primary School in 2013.He is now in Class five in the said School and 13 yrs old. His mother died of HIV/AIDS and the father is a drug addict. He had dropped out of schools and was at risk of becoming a drug trafficker, get involved in child labour, child abuse and abuse hard drugs and migrate to town to become a child seeking means of survival. His Father could not be able to effectively provide the basic needs which are very essential like food, clothing and shelter and thus exposing to exploitative child labor. He is a bright boy in school and has an ambition of becoming a pilot. Besides learning, he likes playing football and also finds pleasure in eating chapatti and beef stew. His Favorite Subject is Science. Kindly assist him to achieve his dream.

24. NAME: LUCY NJOKI –

Concerning the aforementioned, she is a single orphan whose mother died of HIV/Aids in 2012 and it is regrettable that Lucy ’s father is reported to be poor and financially unstable and therefore stands to be assisted financially in order to be able to raise and feed the huge assortments of dependent. He has 7 children and remarried and the step mother does not like the Lucy. In answering this call the AMCC-K led by Bishop John Kameru Muhika intervened to assist Lucy access her education with an aim of creating & establishing a commendable foundation for her, she was then admitted in AMCC-K in the year 2013 and was enrolled in class 2 but now she is in class 5. In addition the father is also reported to be ailing and this makes things even worse for him. Mercy is a Partial Orphan .The mother succumbed to HIV/AIDS in the year 2012. Mercy’s fathers is a widower, sick, poor, illiterate and without a reliable source of income with 7 children to take care of. Some have even dropped out of school and are involved in child labor to feed themselves and help their father in house cores. AMCC-K led by Rev. John Kameru intervened to assist Mercy access in her education with an aim of creating & establishing a commendable foundation for her. She was admitted in AMCC-K the year 2013at the age of 7 years but now she is 9 years old, and was enrolled in Nursery school but now she is in class 3 at Ndunyu Chege Primary School. Her favorite food is chicken stew with Chapati. She likes throwing ball, best subject is English and her Vision is to be a medical Doctor. Please assist her o achieve her Dream.

27. PETER NJOROGE MWANGI

He was born in Murang’a County. His both parents are alive but struggling under abject poverty which could not allow them to cater for him and his other six siblings. They are illiterate and casual laborers earning less than $ 1.75 a day. Peter was at risk of dropping from school and be involved either in child labor or drug trafficking. He was admitted to the AMCC in 2010 at the age of 11 years but now he is 16 years old, and was enrolled in class 5 at Gathanji primary school and later transferred to Ndunyu Chege Primary school when the AMCC-K shifted to the chicken project .Peter is now waiting to join form. His vision is to become a pilot after graduating from a university. He fancies eating chapati, and chicken stew. Peter is also good in soccer and his favorite subject in school is mathematics.
28. SHIRLEEN MWENDE

Shirleen was born in Olkalou County. She is a single orphan whose father died in year 2005 as a result of HIV/AIDS infection leaving behind his wife, a semi-illiterate with 5 children to care for. She was admitted to AMCC this year2013 at the age of 13 years but now she is 15 years old. Sharleen was enrolled in class 6 but now she is waiting to join form one. The burden was thus too much to bear and this exposed Shirleen to a high risk of dropping out of school and perhaps becoming a street urchin or Child commercial sex worker for survivaland possibly be infected with HIV/AIDS. Shirleen is a polite, bright and determined girl who has a great potential for academic excellence. She has an ambition of becoming a lawyer upon Graduation from a University. Her favorite subject is social studies. She also plays football and fancies at eating chapatti with Chicken stew. Please assist her to achieve her dream.

His mother is a widow whose husband died in year 2010. She is also HIV Positive poor, unemployed and she depends on casual labor earning less than a $1 daily. He was at-risk of dropping out of school and get involved in child labor to feed himself as he lived with his aged grandparents. Kenneth was admitted to AMCC-K in 2011 at the age of 10 years and now he is 15 years old. Kenneth was enrolled in class 5 at Gathanji Pry. Sch. But now he is in form 2 at Ndunyu Chege Secondary School. He is a bright boy with a great potential for academic excellence, he likes science as his favorite subject. His vision is to become an engineer upon completion of his University. He also likes athletics and his favorite meal is rice with green grams. He was enrolled in class 5 at Gathanji primary school and later transferred to Ndunyu Chege primary school when AMCC moved from Kiriaini location to chicken facility in Ndunyu Chege but now he in Form 2 at Ndunyu Chege Secondary School. He has an ambition of becoming a pilot after university education. His favourite dish is chapati with beef stew. He likes football and his best subject is Chemistry. 33. Joseph Kamiri

This is a single orphan who has suffered many things. He was admitted in AMCC-K in the year 2008 at the age of 10 years but he is 17 years old now. He was enrolled in class 4 but now he is in form four at Gaichanjiru Boys High School. After the death of his father, who was always quarreling with the mother, he came back to his mother’s father. Later, the mother, being young, got married in the Western Province of Kenya and took the boy.
The second father disliked the boy and refused to be providing for the basic needs. During the 2008 violence they were kicked out and came back to his grandfather. The mother is unemployed and the grandfather has no source of income to care for the family and educate the boy. He was at-risk of dropping out of school and going to the streets to seek ways of survival. Now he is happy to be at the Ah-Gah-pay Mercy Children Centre -Kenya where his needs are met. He is a very bright boy in his academic work. His ambition is to be An Engineer. He is in Form 1 at Gaichanjiru Boys High School. His favorite subject is English. She had been living with her poor and illiterate mother at her grandmother’s home, who is also poor, illiterate and without source of income. Her mother works as a house help earning about U.S. $1 a day. She also takes care of her elderly mother. She could not be able to meet this girl’s basic needs together with 2 more siblings and her elderly mother. The girl was at-risk of dropping from school to engage in child-labor or child commercial sex for survival because of poverty. Her ambition is to be a High School Teacher. He was at Risk of getting inot drug trafficking and abusing ot migrate to town to become a street boy .He was admitted in AMCC-K December 2008, he was 17 years old but now he is 24 years old. He was enrolled in form one in the year 2009 at St. Basil Gathanji Secondary School. He obtained grade C- in his K.C.S.E under AMCC Program, and did driving course and Passed the Test. He is now taking a Diploma in Project Management at Thika T.T.I

Before her admission at AMCC-K, she was living with both of her parents who have been going through a cycle of poverty. They are unemployed but they go for casual labor whenever there is an opportunity, earning less than U.S. $1.5 a day. They were unable to provide for the basic needs of this child together with her other siblings. Her favorite game is handball and her favorite food is rice and beef stew. Her parents divorced and she was left under the care of her poor mother who works as a house help and could not be able to keep her in school because she is also ailing. She took the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education in 2008 while still under our care and support and was admitted to St. Basil Gathanji Sec. School but later repeated ??form 4 at Ndunyu Chege Sec. She is waiting to join college subject to availability of funds.. She is a partial orphan whose father died in 2003 when she was in class 3. She was living together with her widowed mother, poor mother at her grandmother’s home who is above 70 years old. The mother is a casual labourer. Together with her widowed mother, they were chased away by the in-laws from their matrimonial home in Uganda.
Her widowed grandmother, poor grandmother could not be able to take her to high school. She was opting to go for child labour for survival. She was at risk of getting involved in commercial sex.

45.Maggie M.Wambui,

School: Kinangop Institute of Business and Technical Studies.
Maggie is not an Orphan but her parents who are Semi-illiterate live in abject poverty and are casual labored earning less than a US $ a day with five more siblings to take care off. She had dropped out of school and involved in child labor. She was at risk of getting into early marriage, or get infected with HIV/Aids as she could get into commercial sex for survival, and also was at danger of abusing and trafficking drugs. Now she is 3rd. year Student at Kinangop Institute of Business and Technical Studies,taking a Diploma in Computerialized Secretarial.
