We hope that this letter finds you well and in good health. As the war against HIV/AIDS continues in Kenya, we at Ah-Gah-PAY Mercy Children’s Centre –Gatanga are violently trying to do all what we can. i.e mending the safety net by supporting orphans in this centre and meeting all their basic needs.
Sir, we are taking this opportunity to thank you for your company’s continued support and partnership with AMCC as we feed, educate, provide healthcare, accommodation and clothing of the orphans and vulnerable children at Ah-Gah-pay Mercy Children Centre-Gatanga. Bidco Peer educators has been visiting led by Mr. Waweru, either individually or corporately to teach us on HIV/AIDS,& TB. We do not want to forget that they gave AMCC-K two goats on 1.06.2011 and they spent 31.05.2011 ,with us teaching us and guardians and the board, On 1.6.2011.,they slaughtered the two goats and feasted together with team leader Mr.Maxwell Sande.. The employees of Bidco oil attended our Fundraising 0n 9.7.2011 donating kshs.25,000/=.,led by Mr.Maxwell Sande, And again on Saturday 23.07.2011,Bidco Peer educators led by Madam Valentine & Charlote visited donated kshs.3,000/=, 40litres of cooking oil among many other things. We know they come with your blessings. The chicken project is struggling to pick up because of poor quality of feeds and poor market .But WE ALWAYS REMEMBER Bidco’s donation of KSHS.224,600/=.God bless Bidco.
We are hosting 35 kids.8 are in form 3 at St Basil Gathanji Secondary School,1 is in Form Two in the same school, Two girls are in Giachuki Secondary school –District boarding School, one is in Kiburia Girls –Provincial Boarding School, total of 12 in secondary school. Then we have 5 kids in class 8,3kids in class 7,3 kids in class 6, 6 kids in class 5, and 4 kids in class 4.A total of 21 kids in Gathanji primary school. 2 HAS NOT YET GONE TO SCHOOL.A total of 35 children.
